1. Conduct of Diploma Entrance Examination for study of Diploma courses in the State-run Polytechnics.
2. Conduct of examinations in the state-run Polytechnics and issue of Diploma Certificates to successful candidates thereof.
3. Grant of affiliation to All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE) approved Diploma courses.
